Yiros Gyros / Restaurant Identity
Pronounced ‘yee-ros yee-ros’ and named for the much loved national dish, this greek inspired restaurant aims to introduce customers to the flavours of the country whilst remaining affordable and unintimidating. The tile pattern comes from mediterranean architecture and the use of mosaic in the region, the custom typeface used in the logo and on larger displays blends this mosaic ideas with a heavy slab serif that is reminiscent ancient greek letters without simply swapping these with similiar looking characters the use of olive and dusty orange reflect the produce of the region with the blue accents harkening back to the sky, the sea, and the national flag.
